Privacy
Your content stays on your device. The editor draws and encodes the video inside your browser. The text you type, your logo and your screenshots are never uploaded to us or anyone else.
Your text (not your images) is remembered in your browser's local storage so the editor can restore it; clear it with "Reset to the sample" or your browser's site data.
What we count
Anonymous usage events, so we know if the product is useful: page views, which template was picked, that a preview was played, that an export started or finished (template, format, how long it took, file size), and clicks on the pricing buttons. Each event carries a visitor id made from a one-way hash of your IP address and browser with a salt that changes every day, so we can count visitors per day but can't recognise you tomorrow or learn who you are. We set no cookies and use no third-party analytics or ads.
If you leave your email in the "payments open soon" box, we store it with the plan you picked and use it only to tell you once when payments open. Ask us to delete it any time: support@jestr.ai.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe / Stripe, Inc.) on Stripe's checkout page; we never see your card. Stripe gives us what it needs for the invoice (your name or company, email, billing address, tax id if you enter one) and the purchase. Your browser keeps a signed unlock code in local storage. "Restore a purchase" sends the email you type to Stripe to look up your purchase; we don't store it. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Where
The site runs on Amazon Web Services: pages and files are delivered by Amazon CloudFront (a global content delivery network), and the application and the anonymous counts run in Frankfurt (eu-central-1). Server logs keep request metadata for up to 14 days.
